Foundation for Healthy Communities to Provide Marketplace Enrollment Assistance in Manchester


Manchester - With the March 31 open-enrollment deadline to obtain health insurance in the Marketplace looming, the Foundation for Healthy Communities has help available to assist with enrollment in Manchester.

All of these events are free and open to the public.

Certified Marketplace Assisters will be on hand at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. through March 26. Meanwhile, Elliot at River’s Edge will host enrollment events from 2-6 p.m. on March 13, 20 and 27.

Assisters can help those who would like to enroll in a qualified health plan, and will answer any questions about the Marketplace. Spanish and Portuguese speaking assisters are available at each of these locations.

Those who want help with enrollment should:

  • Bring social security numbers (or proper documents for legal immigrants);
  • Bring employer information (such as a W-2 form, paystub, or tax statement);
  • Documentation of household income information (even for members of a household not applying for insurance);
  • Any current health insurance information, and;
  • A completed Employer Coverage Tool for every job-based health plan for which you or someone in your household is eligible. Your employer can provide this form or it can be downloaded from
